In days of old we went outside - to play, to connect, to live.
Today, modern conveniences keep us isolated - indoors, behind screens and sheltered from reality.
Our society has normalized long hours at work, quick meals at home and isolated entertainment. For many, we live our lives on the sideline, in muted tones and in dull interactions.
Memory Lane
In days of old, we stayed connected through daily social interactions... at home we gathered around our elders to hear tales of their young lives lived, we imagined their adventures and dreamed of our own. We showed them respect and honored their time with us... a symbiotic relationship that fueled their purpose and gave us wisdom and understanding. At school, we played outside during recess: games such as red light, green light, tag, and hide and seek. After school we we went out side, rode our bikes for hours and hung out with friends. Times have truly changed.
Life Today
Today, we honor our safe entertainment, our yearly vacations and our hourly wage. Safe entertainment occurs when we pay our hard earned money to watch others live; we do this when we watch sports games (instead of playing the games ourselves) and when we watch movies (instead of creating our own stories). We work long hours for many days just to afford a decent lifestyle and when we're ready for a break, we book a vacation to faraway lands, where life is simpler and more beautiful. But why not live a life that is simpler and more beautiful... instead of only escaping there once or twice a year (if you're lucky). Is there not more to life than this? Why not embrace living life OUT LOUD?
Time to Re-Connect
Advancements in technology are not scaling back... companies are devising new ways to make life more convenient and as a consequence, more isolating. We believe that greater advancements in technology will increase the likelihood of human loneliness and poverty.
So, how do we connect with others in a world barreling toward conveniences that cause isolation?
One word: Intentionally.
If money was no object, what would we do? Where would we go? Who Would we see? We all like to believe that when opportunity knocks we will answer... Because nothing will ever change if everything always stays the same. So, what is the one thing that can set us on a more connected path?
Another word: Resources.
Many of us simply don't have the resources to connect to others - maybe because of time, maybe because of space, maybe because of health (but usually because of poor wealth). We just cant afford to take time off from work to vacation more. At the end of our workdays we're often physically and mentally exhaused and very excited to rush home, only to hop in bed and finally relax. lol. The energy it takes to connect to others outside of work can be taxing... so, we prioritize rest over social interaction. Many of us dream of what we'd do if we had enough money to quit our jobs. Or we dream of how a nice lump sum of cash would change our circumstances and how it could allow us time to be free and time to live our lives on our own terms.

Ready, Set...
Chances are good that you've already envisioned what direction your life should take, your next step should be to pull your imaginings into reality: dump all your ideas onto a piece paper and then organize the ideas into a list. Now, prioritize the list and wait. Sit with that list for at least a week, come back to it often and revise it again and again until no additional updates surface. Now you're ready to put your plan into action!
Go...in Faith!
First things first! Any solid action plan is comprised of ordered steps - better known as strategy! Having the resources you need to move on to the next level of your journey is a great start (because lets face it - the ability to throw money at a problem is usually a quick resolution to that problem) but, miss this 1 crucial step and your plan may been doomed from the beginning. The correct order to prioritize your steps is as follows: #1. FAITH. #2. FUNDS. (Now for a short sermon - skip this section if you are not particularly religious) The reason faith needs to be the first element of any well-crafted and strategic action plan is because without faith (or the holy spirit) you may mistakenly credit the money as the source of your good fortune, instead of the creator. This is folly, and many a man's downfall... pray first for faith (the holy spirit) so that he (faith) may sustain you as you increase in power and strength. Once your spiritual house is in order the gifts of prosperity and wealth will be added unto you without fear of squander, abuse of power or grandiosity. Money is not the root of all evil - a negative spirit in possession of alot of money is. One must keep our heavenly father 1st in his heart so that he is equipped to handle with grace the power that having money brings and to overcome the alluring temptations that are known to lead man astray.
Build Your Wealth
Now we can better understand the old adage "money cant buy you happiness." This saying is accurate in measures and with contingencies. What we mean to express is this: Money amplifies or exposes the spirit of the entity that is in possession of it. To put it another way, happiness isn't created because money is present, happiness has to already exist in order for it to be expressed. Therefore, money doesn't buy true happiness per'se, (because happiness comes from the creator) but it can buy you time and peace of mind in terms of financial struggle and that peace of mind is attributed to a form of wealth and happiness. Inner peace makes you somewhat oblivious to the burdens of this life, you are less stressed by trouble, you are more stable in storms and you are better able to process information in situations where judgement is normally clouded.
Once you can appreciate that the true source of your good fortune is the creator and not the cash you can remain humble in your dealings with money and make decisions with it that honor that appreciation. This will allow you to move forward with your new strategized action plan in confidence that your steps are divinely ordered and sanctioned by the most high.
